We have immediate opening for Registered Radiation Oncology Coder (ROCC) Coding Validation Specialist.  Other credentials to support radiation oncology coding expertise will be considered.

Under remote supervision, the Registered Radiation Oncology Coder (ROCC) Coding Validation Specialist acts independently to complete and manage all assigned work related to the review and validation of cases, including the responsibility for the efficiencies and quality of work and reporting thereof, fulfilling the mission of VARIS.

• Maintains a focus on the client perspective at all times.
• Perform APC audits with 95% accuracy contribution to the company's overall audit recovery efforts
• Accurately and effectively document findings of audits
• Perform audits within time frame assigned
• Ensure regular contact with Manager on progress of all assignments and submit status report as needed
• Actively participates as a member of the VARIS Service Team
• Ensure compliance with internal standards at all times in all areas of job performance
• Demonstrate independent action and team building abilities
• Attend department meetings as required
• Keep current with coding changes and updates
• Present and communicate with clients, facilities, and staff in a professional manner
